QuickSell was founded in 2017 by Deepak Bhagchandani after his stint as a UX Engineer and Designer at Pearson Education in Mountain View, CA for 3 years where he was responsible for prototyping new age educational solutions leveraging Pearson's library of digital and offline content. Previous to this he earned his M.S in Human Computer Interaction Design from Indiana University in the US. He also has a degree in I.T Engineering from Mumbai University.

Having a solid background in both design and engineering, as the founder he designed and developed the first version of the app, along-with going door to door and selling to the first 100 customers in the streets of India.

About Process

Design and code feature for the website application as per the specifications provided by the Product and Design teams

Ship features in fast moving agile sprints

Work closely with Backend, Product Design and Product Management teams to brainstorm and chalk out details of features

Ability to build a feature from scratch & drive it to completion

Must have good understanding of Javascript and Clean architecture

Must have good understanding of asynchronous programming, callback, and closures

Should have strong experience with Javascript frontend framework/libraries like ReactJS

Understanding of stateless application

Good knowledge of CSS and its pre-processors like SASS/LESS

Good understanding of server-side templates

 

Experience with creating cross-browser compatible web apps
