Before we build any solution, it is our responsibility as designers, to add some value to the world. Therefore our first task will be to discover what we should be building. You’ll play a vital role in driving user research, uncovering insights about customer needs and identifying opportunities | |
You’ll then be working on preparing the information architecture and user flows for the product, and seek feedback from product managers, developers to ensure that our work delivers on business goals | |
You are also responsible for the final end product with all it’s visual polish | |
The scope of the experience design team extends beyond Figma and prototyping tools. If we’re doing anything that impacts the user’s experience, you’re likely to be involved in articulating a solution for it | |
The product development lifecycle is iterative and follows an agile framework. Therefore our design methodology is iterative. You’ll have to focus on ensuring that the designs are modular, instead of getting it right the first time | |
You’ll work closely with the Product Growth team who can provide feedback on how the design changes are impacting key metrics, and how we can improve upon them | |
You’ll work closely with developers to maintain clear lines of communication from both ends - to ensure that the designs are development friendly (so that we can build faster) and that the development is as intended | |
