About process | Working on the implementation of various web booking engines a self-service systems and other eCommerce related projects |
Responsible for researching and evaluating products and applications |
Products and application needs to be innovative and implemented from an end to end basis after agreeing with superiors |
Proactively brief and coordinate with agency on all updates, new initiatives and developments on the Online Booking Engines, various direct sales channels and other projects |
Preparing a brief to an agency through a Business, Functional Scope document, that will have all the elements that will go into a project |
Will be responsible for delivery of the front end portal including integrating the CMS to make it seamless |
Understand the customer pain areas, and bringing out solutions |
Creating Test cases and Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) |
Provide and implement new ideas - Create new features, designs, applications on the Online Booking Engine and website as per business requirements |
Co-ordinate with various vendors, team members as well as Intra departments on implementation of eCommerce related projects |
Research new developments in the eCommerce space and make recommendations on a monthly basis |
Interact with agencies/vendors to upgrade online features, monitor service levels, data security and ensure compliance with required standards |
Test/validate all the Online Booking Engines, self service applications from time to time and check whether the same are working as desired |
Research and monitor competitor sites to capture new and different online applications |
Coordinate with the Technology Solutions team or the technical agency, for any hardware, networking and development work |
Coordinate with Online Travel Agents, Metasearch websites and other Online portals for setting up accounts and integrating our systems through Webservices and API’s |
Address guest grievances, which will be sent via eMails and/or will be mentioned over a telephone call and report/document the same accordingly |
Coordinate with the Central Help Desk for all back end processes and day to day activities |
Monitor and analyze errors and bugs in order to increase the output of the various systems and applications |
Analyze various usage of the different applications / systems and research / find new ways of increasing such usage |
Provide 24 by 7 support from home or office, incase, there is a project to be released with a tight timeline or the systems go down |

Ability to effectively communicate with technically and non-technically skilled customers and dealers to develop partnerships/relationships |
Need to be an excellent team worker |
Should be a self-driven individual and be able to independently handle the assignments |
Good knowledge of using Salesforce, JIRA / Devops (or other defect tracking tools) |
General information technology knowledge and, ideally, its application to the mining client industry |
Knowledge of reservation system (Sabre, Amadeus) |
Quickly learn the functionality and troubleshooting techniques |
Flexibility to work on issues off working hours including weekends |
