About Process | Demonstrates disease knowledge/subject matter expertise on several diseases within oncology |
Demonstrates technical expertise on various data entry platforms (e.g. Caisis, Helix etc) and electronic medical record systems | |
Directly supervises Project Managers and is responsible for staff mentoring and professional development, may directly supervise Asst. Program Manager if multiple managers are added to the department | |
Responsible for completion of performance appraisals and corrective action as needed; oversees absence management, including leave approval and accurate attendance tracking | |
In providing oversight for all Program projects, may provide performance feedback to roles in other verticals like Quality and Operations and contribute to performance reviews as requested by AVP, Operation and AVP, Quality | |
Responsible for training planning for ongoing and new projects, and on-going training reporting for client and Vasta leadership | |

Requirement | Minimum 8 years of experience in handling large teams at a sponsor or CRO company with therapeutic experience in oncology and/or rare disease and clinical trials and protocols preferred |
Experience in early phase trials (Phase I-II) and First-In-Man trials (preferred) | |
Must have a thorough knowledge of clinical research concepts, practices, and FDA regulations and ICH Guidelines regarding drug development phases, clinical research and data management methods | |
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills | |
Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus | |
Progressive responsibility with demonstrated leadership skills and project management | |
Experience with project management software tools | |
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Visio, email (Outlook), TeamShare (or other management/shared content/workspace), and internet | |
